Participants in the DECA Virtual Business Challenge (VBC) operate a web-based business simulation utilizing a competition version of the Virtual Business software. The VBC qualifying rounds are conducted via the internet, where participants post competition scores for chartered association, regional and overall rankings.
An acclaimed program from the SIFMA Foundation, the Collegiate DECA Stock Market Game is an online simulation of the global capital markets that engages students in the world of economics, investing and personal finance. The competition challenges teams with building and managing a $100,000 investment portfolio of stocks, bonds and mutual funds. Participants manage all aspects of the portfolio including asset selection, buying and selling.

Students attending the Collegiate DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC) experienced a new opportunity to network with their peers and engage with DECA’s corporate partners. Each of the 5 Professional Development Academies (PDAs) included a Mini-Case Competition focused around next year’s Engage topic.
