Sauk Rapids-Rice DECA hosted its first-ever officer induction ceremony at a local country club at the end of August. Last year, the chapter was the largest chapter in Minnesota, with nearly 200 members. All 19 officers and their parents/guardians were invited to kick-off DECA season for the new school year. The event consisted of professional headshots, music, dinner, a formal presentation of the executive council and the induction of all junior officers. Officers were pinned during the presentation and received a custom pen and case to recognize their position and responsibilities within the chapter. The event was a great success, creating lasting memories and providing an opportunity for parents, members and advisors to celebrate. Our officers are truly ready to Get The Edge this year!
