Meet the 2019-2020 Collegiate DECA Executive Officer Team

Elected at the 2019 Collegiate DECA International Career Development Conference in Orlando, Florida, the 2019-2020 Executive Officer Team is eager to represent Collegiate DECA members this year. Your new executive officers are excited to focus their efforts on supporting chapter development. Including each officer's time spent in DECA in high school, this team has a combined 30 years of DECA experience. They are already hard at work developing their goals and plans for the year. Here we go, Collegiate DECA. This team is ready for the best year yet.

Anthony Fakhoury, President

Anthony Fakhoury is entering his 6th year as an active DECA member. After over 30 conferences including 3 ICDC's in both the High School and Collegiate Division, Anthony has proven he's DECA-Cated time after time. This past year he served as the Arizona Collegiate VP of Marketing while studying at Arizona State University. He hopes to obtain a bachelor's degree in Business Administrations with a minor in International Business. In his free time, Anthony enjoys watching vlogs, recreating vines and watching Game of Thrones. This year he hopes to provide associations with the resources necessary to establish growth and better prepare members for competition.

Max May, Vice President

Max May is serving as Vice President. Max is currently a sophomore at Johnson & Wales University studying Marketing. Previously, he has served as VP of Membership Development at Johnson & Wales while serving as an association officer. During his high school years, he served as a chapter officer for DECA. Besides DECA, he was a president for various clubs, played baseball for multiple teams year round, and also participated in track. Max is currently a student assistant for game operations at his university and is currently recolonizing a fraternity at Johnson & Wales University. In his spare time, Max spends his time going on adventures with his friends, along with watching and playing sports. Ever since high school, Max has grown a serious passion for DECA and wants to see this organization grow to the best of its ability. This year, Max looks forward to working with other DECA members around the globe.

Michelle Le, Vice President

Michelle Le’s DECA journey began her freshman year of high school. Ready to experience new challenges and opportunities, she joined Collegiate DECA at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she has served as Vice President of Marketing and President. The organization continues to be the propelling force behind her commitment to service, creativity, and business. She has been acquainted with DECA for 8 years now and every year, her love for this organization and all that it offers grows even more. Majoring in marketing and minoring in global entrepreneurship, Michelle has developed interests in advocacy and adventure. She wants DECA members to know that their DECA journey doesn’t have to end after high school and that it becomes even more focused in college. She is devoted to helping cultivate a connected community of members who strive to be leaders in their careers, collaborate with one another, and are passionate in all that they do.

Lindsay Joyner, Vice President

Lindsay Shannon Joyner is a junior studying Strategic Communications at the University of Utah. Through her six years in DECA, she has served in such roles as High School Treasurer, High School Assistant Coach, President of University of Utah DECA and Utah Collegiate DECA President. Lindsay has stayed involved at the high school level as a devoted coach to the American International School of Utah DECA members. A four-time state champion and former international champion, Lindsay is a hardworking competitor who enjoys helping members old and new prepare for conferences. During her undergraduate career, Lindsay has stayed involved as Rush Chair and Publicity Chair for her University’s chapter of Kappa Delta Chi, a professional sorority dedicated to the betterment of underprivileged communities. During her free time, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her beloved cat Peach, perfecting her photography skills, and catching up on the latest independent films. Lindsay is thrilled to be serving as an Executive Vice President alongside the rest of her amazing team!

Drew DuBoff, Vice President

Drew is a 5-year DECA member and Collegiate DECA international champion in Entrepreneurship Growing Your Business belonging to the New Jersey Association in high school and the Rhode Island Association in college. In high school, he originally joined DECA because of the scholarship opportunities and after he stumbled upon competitive success, he decided to stick with the organization and it has revolutionized the trajectory of his career ever since. Drew helped establish the individual chapter at Johnson & Wales University and has served in DECA leadership positions for the past 3 years, including state office. Outside of DECA, Drew is passionate about entrepreneurship and is side hustling his way through student loan debt as a virtual assistant and freelancer with his business, It’s Been A Pleasure, LLC. Drew is excited to help Collegiate DECA members fully realize their DECA potential and have the most fulfilling, ambitious careers they can have.
