DECA and FIDM Congratulate Winners in the Entrepreneur of Tomorrow Challenge

DECA Inc. and FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising are excited to announce the winners of this year’s FIDM Entrepreneur of Tomorrow Challenge. The competition tasked members with presenting a new clothing, beauty, home, health, food or entertainment concept in a four-minute video presentation. Participants could spend no more than $25.00 to create a prototype and develop a marketing and distribution strategy.

Over 125 entries were submitted. FIDM executives reviewed all submissions and selected the top four presentations. Each of the top four winning teams will be recognized on stage during the International Career Development Conference in Atlanta, GA this April. The teams will also be awarded ICDC travel stipends.

Congratulations to the following DECA members:

1st Place:

Tiffany Li, Jennifer Zheng & Steffi Zhou from Mission San Jose High School, CA – $1,500

2nd Place:

Annika Lee, Isa Turri & Yoyo Zhang from Choate Rosemary Hall, CT – $1,000

Morgan Link & Olivia Zhang from McLean High School, VA – $1,000

3rd Place:

Shefali Breitbach from West Ranch High School, CA – $500
