To the DECA Community,
A year ago, the five of us embarked on the journey of a lifetime. As we bid farewell as your 2024-2025 High School Executive Officer Team, we want to thank you for trusting us throughout this term. Together, we made history by reaching a milestone in membership with 293,179 DECA members worldwide. Through the passion, commitment and DECAcation of every member, our team was able to implement a program of leadership that focused on giving back through advocacy, communications and leadership development. Because of you, we were able to #BeTheOne.
At the 2025 International Career Development Conference, your Executive Officers witnessed a record-breaking 26,000 members, advisors and volunteers embody all that DECA stands for. From the opening session to the grand awards ceremony, we were left astonished by the pure love and enthusiasm each one of us holds for this organization. While our final, teary-eyed farewell speeches have passed, know that we are always here for you, no matter what.
The 2024-2025 DECA Call Series brought together members from all four regions through One DECA, Regional Calls and the President’s Council. We witnessed genuine friendships form and watched associations learn from one another, just as we imagined.
This year, the High School Division consisted of over 4,200 chapters. To every chapter, we thank you for being the foundation of DECA. To all our advisors, especially our home chapters and associations, thank you for uplifting every member and letting us live out our wildest dreams.
Thank you to the DECA Inc. staff who supported us this year and helped us achieve our initiatives. Each of you does so much behind the scenes that makes our jobs possible. Thank you to Ms. LoVuolo, Mrs. Taylor, Caitlin, Shawna, Mr. Young and Mr. Peterson for their guidance throughout our terms.
The past year has profoundly impacted us. We have become better leaders, teammates, friends and people. We are infinitely grateful to all of the members, staff and families who have been here for this amazing ride.
