Coral Glades DECA in Coral Springs, Florida hosted a donation drive in December to collect dog and cat food, toys and sanitary supplies to donate to a local non-profit animal rescue organization, Good Karma Pet Rescue.
The donations were much needed as Good Karma has struggled with facilitating community fundraising events and recruiting volunteers to help provide the usual top-notch care for their furry friends because of the pandemic. But with the help of Coral Glades DECA's 64 participants, the chapter was able to collect 278 donations for Good Karma and help rebuild their ties with the community!
