Congratulations to the Collegiate DECA Chapters of the Month

Oct 31, 2025

Collegiate DECA chapters shine bright like diamonds on every campus we’re at! The hard work completed by these chapters and their members truly shows how we all #GoTheExtra every single day.

The Collegiate DECA Executive Officer Team started the Chapter of the Month initiative to recognize the endeavors that chapters are participating in.

Each Chapter of the Month demonstrates DECA's brand and guiding principles of preparing members to be academically prepared, community oriented, professionally responsible and experienced leaders.

Congratulations to the following chapters:

October

Avila University

Avila University Collegiate DECA has started the year with a bang, kicking things off with their first chapter meeting in the opening week of school and proudly representing DECA at the student organization fair on just the fourth day of classes. The executive board set clear, measurable goals for the semester and school year. Avila has shown a commitment to membership growth, competition success, and expanding its on-campus presence.

With a detailed fall calendar already in place, the chapter is preparing for an exciting DECA Week in November featuring events such as a résumé and career workshop and DECA Dress Day. Building on the incredible momentum from their standout 2024–2025 year, Avila DECA is proving once again what it means to #GoTheExtra.

September

Missouri State University

Missouri State University Collegiate DECA has hit the ground running this semester. The chapter has been busy welcoming new members through campus fairs and an early social event that brought students together in a fun and relaxed setting. After hosting their new member orientation, they’re already looking ahead to workshops, competition prep, service projects, and more. With so much momentum early on, MSU Collegiate DECA is setting itself up for a standout year.
