DECA Inc. is excited to announce the top DECA team in the 2022 Intuit Social Innovation Challenge!
This year, Intuit challenged students to “Lead with a Cause” by designing an innovative solution to make entrepreneurship and business ownership accessible for all. More than 2,100 students representing 300 high school teams from across North America participated in this year's challenge.
Congratulations to the top DECA team of Ariel Weeks, Antonio Agnew, Chrinesha Rogers, Ronald Weeks, Jabari Scruggs, Eariana Ross and Marcayla McWhorter from Memphis Business Academy in Tennessee for taking fifth place in the overall challenge. The team's innovation focused on More Brown Success (MBS), a Wikipedia for entrepreneurs that provides assistance to underrepresented small business owners, with a focus on Black and Brown entrepreneurs, in starting a business.
All challenge participants will receive a Design for Delight “Challenger” digital badge and a free voucher for the Intuit "Design for Delight" certification ($150 value). Thank you to Intuit for providing this opportunity.
