The 2026-27 DECA Content Creators will help grow DECA's brand by showcasing their unique DECA experience through content creation. With exclusive access to insider information and behind-the-scenes opportunities, content creators will help expand DECA's digital presence and inspire members to discover their Next Big Thing.
As a DECA Content Creator, you will be responsible for creating relevant and fun DECA content throughout the 2026-27 school year. DECA is looking for individuals who love showcasing the DECA experience with media content.
Members will be required to create at least one piece of content per month for DECA's Instagram or TikTok and submit one article per month for DECA Direct Online. In addition, you may be assigned to cover certain events or amplify specific projects throughout the school year.
Content Creator Requirements
- You must be a fully registered, dues-paying DECA member in the high school division.
- You must be able to dedicate 2-4 hours each month to creating content.
- You must have a public Instagram and TikTok account.
- You must understand the basic concepts and skills for content creation.
- You must demonstrate professional communication skills, including appropriate message, spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc.
Applicants must complete the application form, short answer questions and submit their content samples by Monday, July 27, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET.
