Dec 6, 2023

This year, over 120 Collegiate DECA members participated in the Collegiate DECA Virtual Case Simulation competition, sponsored by long-time DECA partner, Knowledge Matters.

In this interactive, digital simulation, participants took on the role of a restaurant entrepreneur. Participants had full control of opening, setting up and operating a new restaurant as they managed target customers, location, kitchen layout, food purchasing, menu design and more.

Congratulations to the top three winners, each who received cash awards courtesy of Knowledge Matters.

  1. Laura Muggli | University of Mary, North Dakota
  2. Joshua Nelson | University of Cincinnati, Ohio
  3. Maxwell Renay-Lopes | University of Cincinnati, Ohio

The winners will be recognized on stage during Collegiate DECA's 2024 International Career Development Conference in Austin, TX.
