In partnership with AMA, DECA provides students with engaging learning resources and a clear approach to earning a credential aligned to DECA’s marketing pathway and competitive events program. The AMA Associate in Marketing Management Certificate validates the marketing skills DECA students possess, signaling to colleges and employers that they’re prepared for what’s next.
Candidate Eligibility + Fees
This credential is available to DECA members who earn a score of 70% or higher on the DECA Marketing Cluster Exam at the state or international level. The cost per certificate is $25.
Purchasing Certificates
- Log in to the Membership Portal
- Click on the Market Place tab
- Click the Certifications banner to expand
- Click the (+) sign on the left of Certifications to expand
- A list of eligible members will populate
- Under the Select column, use the checkbox to choose members to receive the certification
- Click the red Create Invoice button to complete the purchase
- Batches and separate transactions can be done by submitting accordingly
- Review the confirmation box and click the blue Confirm button
- Certificate downloads will be available once invoice payment is received
Downloading Certificates
- Certificates will be available to those on paid invoices
- Log in to the Membership Portal
- Click on the Market Place tab
- Click the Certifications banner to expand
- Under the Select column, the Download All link can be used to export all available certificates into a single file easily.
- Individual certificates may be saved using the Download link for each respective recipient.
