2026–2027 High School Division Executive Officer Team Program of Leadership

Aug 1, 2026

The 2026–2027 High School Division Executive Officer Team is excited to introduce our Program of Leadership.

Throughout the year, we are committed to helping members step into their Next Big Thing by empowering leaders, advancing career development and increasing collaboration with DECA's corporate partners.

Empower Leaders

We aim to empower members and officers to make an impact by sharing best practices, expanding guidebook resources, and being accessible. First, we will spotlight the top ten chapters in membership, MDA fundraising and other categories in DECA’s guidebooks.

We will also use social platforms to raise awareness of DECA’s current leadership resources. Finally, we aim to be hyper-accessible by meeting routinely with association officer teams and expanding opportunities for all members to reach executive officers.

Advance Career Development

Next, we plan to strengthen DECA’s opportunities for career exploration, real-world industry insights, and competitive excellence. By launching virtual programming that connects members with inspiring industry leaders and featuring recap content on DECA Direct and social media, we aim to further close the gap between industry and the classroom.

We will also continue the Ultimate Video Series to communicate changes to competitive events and competitive advice directly from DECA Inc.

Increase Collaboration with Corporate Partners

Lastly, we plan to expand organization-wide opportunities to engage in community service initiatives with DECA’s corporate partners, such as the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Through social media campaigns and spotlights on the OneDECA calls, we strive to expand awareness of DECA’s corporate partners, their relationships with DECA, and the resources they offer to members.

Your entire executive officer team looks forward to implementing our Program of Leadership to serve the High School Division. We encourage chapter and association officers to develop their own Program of Leadership and to see their platforms as a privilege and an opportunity to make an impact on their members' experience.
