DECA Inc. is pleased to announce the 2021 DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC) qualifiers in the 2020-2021 DECA Stock Market Game, administered by the SIFMA Foundation.
Participants were challenged with developing and managing a virtual investment portfolio of stocks, bonds and mutual funds, with the aim of increasing the value of their portfolio, while maintaining its diversity. Rankings were based on the percentage growth above or below the value of the S&P 500.
The eligible teams from each region qualify to present their portfolio during ICDC. View the complete list of ICDC qualifiers here.
With approval from their chartered association, these teams are now eligible to participate in the Stock Market Game during the 2021 DECA Virtual International Career Development Conference (ICDC) this April. In the ICDC competitive event, teams will defend their investment decisions with a written document describing their project and a 15-minute oral presentation. Complete competition guidelines are available in the DECA Guide. Qualifying teams should retrieve their portfolio by February 15, 2021, to complete the written entry portion for competition during ICDC.
