DECA is an international organization comprised of nearly a quarter-million members from all walks of life. It is our job as leaders to welcome and celebrate the diversity within this organization and in all walks of light. In light of this, the 2021-2022 DECA Executive Officer Team recently released a statement detailing our stance regarding discrimination in all forms.

We want to take the time to reiterate the importance of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion within this organization.
DECA Inc. is taking a bold stance to combat any racial injustices across the organization, implementing its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE+I) Taskforce and taking the necessary steps to ensure that all members feel welcomed and included.
We applaud the DECA Inc. Board of Directors, Mr. Peterson, as well as DECA Inc. for remaining steadfast in their stance against discrimination in all forms.
This Executive Officer Team will remain committed to celebrating the diversity within our DECA community as we provide insight to the DE+I Taskforce to accelerate the organization's mission to create a welcoming environment where all individuals have a sense of belonging.
Remember that the executive officer team will remain available and accessible throughout the year. O'Brian, Sriya, Sarah, Rajan and Marisol are committed to ensuring that all members feel that they can come to us with any concerns.
