You may have noticed a packet of Encourage forms arriving at your school. DECA has partnered with Encourage to help students map their post-secondary plans and provide our national office with feedback that strengthens DECA programs.
What Is Encourage?
Encourage is a free college and career planning program for grades 7–12. It makes planning simple and engaging by helping students explore colleges, careers, scholarships, and majors. It offers an easy way to guide students when they turn to you for advice and support.
Why It Matters for You
Encourage provides:
- Insights into student post-secondary goals and interests
- Free resources including lesson plans and family guides
- Data to showcase your program’s impact
Plus, your participation provides anonymous feedback to DECA National, helping shape future resources and initiatives that directly support you and your chapter.
How to Get Started
1. Complete the Encourage forms (students and advisor)
2. Receive your invitations (sent via email after forms are processed)
