Join over 1,000 advisors from across the DECA network on July 23-24, 2025 (12:00 pm - 4:00 pm EST), for two days filled with engaging and educational content focusing on curriculum and instructional content that connects DECA to the classroom. Alexa, Can You Inspire a Classroom?
This session unpacks the basics of AI, machine learning, and generative AI—what they are, how they differ, and why it matters. We’ll explore how Adobe approaches GenAI with responsibility and transparency: using licensed data, compensating creators, and building tools that support creative workflows rather than replace them. Most importantly, we’ll dive into what machines do well (spoiler: it’s not inspiring students) and what only humans can bring, like empathy, imagination, and emotion. Plus, we’ll share a few real-world examples of how educators are using GenAI in their classrooms.
