Collegiate DECA 2017-2018 Stock Market Game Session 2 Top Competitors

The Collegiate DECA Stock Market Game, brought to you by the SIFMA Foundation, challenged Collegiate DECA members to build and manage a $100,000 virtual investment portfolio of stocks, bonds and mutual funds.

After three months of competition, Collegiate DECA congratulates the top teams who participated in Session 2 of the competition. Rankings are based on percentage growth against the S&P 500, not equity (learn more about the S&P 500 here).

Congratulations to the following Session 2 winners:

1st Place – Richard DuBois | Johnson & Wales University (CO)
The team finished in first place with a total equity of $102,236.46 and a return of 6.5787%.

2nd Place – David Yue | University of North Texas (TX)
The team finished in second place with a total equity of $100,084.89 and a return of 4.4271%.

3rd Place – Zain Fidai, Karmin Hooda and Samar Ajani | University of Texas at Austin (TX)
The team finished in third place with a total equity of $99,246.27 and a return of 3.5885%.

4th Place – Nicholas Eitsert, Jonathan Kovacev and Jeffrey Wang | Purdue University (IN)
The team finished in fourth place with a total equity of $99,568.95 and a return of -0.1762%.

5th Place – Brittany Rivera and Rohan Drummond | Purdue University (IN)

The team finished in fifth place with a total equity of $98,712.16 and a return of -1.033%.
