As the school year starts to settle in, new and returning members are ready to engage and Get The Edge with DECA. The question for many is, where do I start? One of the best ways to understand what DECA is and how you can prepare for competitions is through leadership conferences.
Leadership conferences allow members to network, develop competition and professional skills, and have fun! Leadership conferences bring in some of the brightest minds in the field to help you feel empowered and excited to lead and compete. Not only are these professionals coming from around the country, but so are the members you’ll be interacting with! Conferences are a chance to make new friends with the same passion and drive as you. You’ll be able to explore the city the conference is held in and create long-lasting memories with the members around you.
There are three major DECA leadership conferences in the fall: the Ultimate DECA Power Trip, the Western Region Leadership Conference, and the Central Region Leadership Conference.

Ultimate DECA Power Trip
November 11-13 in the Washington D.C. Area

Western Region Leadership Conference
November 17-19 in Anaheim, CA
Registration Deadline: October 14, 2022
Central Region Leadership Conference
December 9-11 in Milwaukee, WI

Leadership conferences hold a special place in my heart, as my first conference made me realize that DECA was something much bigger than I had imagined. I wanted to be a part of that effort to prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs.
