DECA Inc. and the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) are excited to announce the winners of this year’s FIDM Entrepreneur of Tomorrow Challenge. The competition tasked students with presenting a new clothing, beauty, home, health, food or entertainment concept in a four-minute video presentation. Participants could spend no more than $25.00 to create a prototype and develop a marketing and distribution strategy.
Over 130 entries were submitted. FIDM executives reviewed all submissions and selected the top four presentations. Each of the top four winning teams will be recognized during the Virtual International Career Development Conference this April! The teams will also be awarded cash prizes.
Congratulations to the following DECA members:
Tracy Chanand and Katherine Chao from Tomball Memorial High School, TX
Jennifer Zheng and Tiffany Li from Mission San Jose High School, CA
Carly Mallah, Brooke Gerchick and Claire Limb from Blind Brook High School, NY
Aanya Kasera from Kimberly High School, WI
Thank you to the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) for sponsoring the challenge!
