The Second Round of The DECA Virtual Business Challenge Launches January 8, 2019

Participants in the DECA Virtual Business Challenge (VBC) operate a web-based business simulation utilizing a competition version of the Virtual Business software. The VBC qualifying rounds are conducted via the internet, where participants post competition scores for chartered association, regional and overall rankings.

It Can Wait, It's Worth The Wait

DECA is pleased to announce a collaboration with AT&T to reduce the number of distracted drivers. It Can Wait is a national campaign, launched by AT&T, to eliminate distracted driving. The campaign encourages individuals to take a pledge promising to not be a distracted driver. DECA and AT&T are collaborating to launch a 'text-to-pledge' project.

DECA is excited to announce another year of the DECA Idea Challenge, a fast-paced experiential learning exercise that dares students of all ages to find an innovative use for a commonplace item in mere days! Once revealed, students must generate a new use for the item. Competing teams finish the challenge by generating a brief video pitch of their new product.

DECA’s Virtual Business Challenge (VBC) is a collection of free, game-like simulations that foster development of career skills in the areas of business, marketing and personal finance. Each simulation challenges students to control their own virtual business, managing tasks such as market research, pricing, financial reporting and more. In partnership with Knowledge Matters, seven unique tracks are available to engage a variety of minds:
