Explore Entrepreneurship Through Idea Generation: Idea Challenge Launches Nov. 9

DECA is excited to announce another year of the DECA Idea Challenge, a fast-paced experiential learning exercise that dares students of all ages to find an innovative use for a commonplace item in mere days! Once revealed, students must generate a new use for the item. Competing teams finish the challenge by generating a brief video pitch of their new product.

5 Fun Fall Fundraising Ideas

For DECA members, fall ameans that regional conferences are quickly approaching. This year, the Western Region Leadership Conference will be in Anaheim, the Central Region Leadership Conference will be in Detroit, and The Ultimate DECA Power Trip will be in Baltimore. It Can Wait, It’s Worth The Wait

DECA is pleased to announce a collaboration with AT&T to reduce the number of distracted drivers. It Can Wait is a national campaign, launched by AT&T, to eliminate distracted driving. The campaign encourages individuals to take a pledge promising to not be a distracted driver. DECA and AT&T are collaborating to launch a ‘text-to-pledge’ project.

ENGAGE 2018 Modules

DECA’s ENGAGE Conference will challenge Collegiate DECA members to understand their career interests, skills and experiences and empower them to stand out among the competition. Collegiate DECA Stock Market Game Begins September 24

An acclaimed program from the SIFMA Foundation, the Collegiate DECA Stock Market Game is an online simulation of the global capital markets that engages students in the world of economics, investing and personal finance. The competition challenges teams with building and managing a $100,000 investment portfolio of stocks, bonds and mutual funds. Participants manage all aspects of the portfolio including asset selection, buying and selling.
