Do you have what it takes to be a successful social media marketing professional? The Stukent Social Media Marketing Challenge is your chance to compete using the social media marketing simulation, Mimic Social. You will be tasked with managing a fictitious company’s $5,000 weekly social media ad budget, including marketing on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest. You will schedule and promote content to post on each platform, target specific audiences, and analyze your success through multiple rounds of the simulation. Only one account is allowed per participant.
The top three individuals will be recognized on DECA Direct Online and on stage during DECA’s International Career Development Conference in Orlando, Florida. In addition, the following cash prizes will be awarded:
- 1st Place: $1,500 cash prize
- 2nd Place: $1,000 cash prize
- 3rd Place: $500 cash prize
- Challenge Begins: February 6, 2023
- Challenge Ends: March 6, 2023
- Top 3 Individuals Announced: March 2023
- Top 3 Individuals Travel to ICDC: April 22-25, 2023*
*Eligibility to attend DECA’s ICDC is determined by the chartered association advisor based on their rules and regulations. Finalists should consult with their chartered association advisor for eligibility guidelines and also gain approval from their chapter advisor to attend the conference.
