Participate in the Knowledge Matters Digital Presentation Skills Challenge

December 5, 2022

Submissions due by January 31, 2023

The DECA/Knowledge Matters Digital Presentation Skills Challenge will test your skills at creating and delivering a digital presentation.

For the first round of digital presentations, students will create a one to two-minute digital presentation utilizing a Virtual Business simulation. The topic is solely up to each student. Students can talk about the strategies they use in the simulation, or they can discuss real-world business stories and illustrate the stories with simulation exercises. Or, they can talk about their own lives, their knowledge of business and financial literacy, and again utilize a Virtual Business simulation to relate to and illustrate their topic. The top eight finalists (chosen by Knowledge Matters) will present a live five to ten-minute digital presentation via Google Meet.

The challenge is free and open to any high school student member of a DECA whose chapter has at least one active license to a Virtual Business simulation.

Recognition

The top three individuals will be recognized on DECA Direct Online, recognized on stage during DECA’s International Career Development Conference in Orlando, Florida, and receive cash prizes up to $2,500.
