Beginning August 17, 2020, all high school members are welcome to join monthly #OneDECA Calls where members have the opportunity to learn, collaborate and unite as part of the DECA community. Stay up-to-date on all things DECA, meet new members to expand your network and collaborate with other leaders based on the monthly topic. All chartered association and chapter officers are welcome to join monthly Regional Calls where members will have the opportunity to collaborate with their fellow officers and their regional vice president. This call is a virtual workspace to gain and share ideas, receive input on projects and learn how to better support your associations and chapters.

Presidents will collaborate around DECA’s mission statement to prepare our members in marketing, finance, hospitality and management. Come prepared to interact, share progress on your association's program of leadership, and get inspired to maximize your impact as you lead your chartered association.

Catherine Horton, a Georgia native living in Arizona, is a three-year DECA member. She has served as a chapter officer at Mountain Ridge High School and as an Arizona DECA State Officer. She finds great joy in all the opportunities and challenges DECA presents and thrives in building relationships with members. Loving the competitive aspect of DECA, Catherine competed at the association and international levels in Marketing Management Team Decision Making and Community Awareness Project events. She is excited to continue her service as an advocate for DECA. In the fall of 2021, she will pursue degrees in Marketing and Business Administration. Throughout Catherine’s high school career, she was involved in many extracurricular activities. She was a varsity cheerleader, International Thespian, National Honor Society member and a freshman mentor.
