Exclusive Preview: 2021-2022 DECA Executive Officer Team Program of Leadership

August 11, 2021

After weeks of hard work, deliberation and fine-tuning, your Executive Officers are proud to present our 2021-2022 Program of Leadership that will guide us through the upcoming school year!

Advocacy:

  • We will continue to advocate for the betterment of DECA and Career and Technical Education (CTE) by partnering with members and legislators to ensure that the organization remains sufficiently funded and well-represented on Capitol Hill.

Member Engagement:

  • We will continue to utilize DECA Connect with chartered association officers as it is our organizations’ premier social networking forum. Keep a lookout for consistent posts from the Executive Officer Team throughout the year.
  • With the debut of our monthly awards, select chartered associations will be recognized during our monthly #OneDECA calls based on their performance and commitment to the organization’s mission.
  • To continue our efforts to recognize DECA members worldwide, members will have a chance to win our Legendary Award. This award will be presented to a chartered association officer team and a chartered association president during the 2022 International Career Development Conference for their impact on the organization.

Communications:

  • The Executive Officer Team is proud to continue the Student Video Call Series initiative with the continuation of the #OneDECA, Regional and Presidents Council Calls for the 2021-2022 school year. The participants of these calls can expect to see more engaging content and the debut of our monthly awards program.
