Program Overview

Recruiter Panel Chats

From today through September 28 at 5 p.m. ET, students can join us for informal Recruiter Panel Chats on Zoom to learn about internship and full-time opportunities at a wide variety of top Fortune 500 retailers! Recruiters will answer questions about interview processes, internship experiences, career paths, workplace culture and more. Recruiter panels last up to one hour and are open to all students, educators and recent grads to attend. Participating companies include Gap Inc., Kohl’s, Levi Strauss & Co., Nordstrom, REI, Saks, Target, The TJX Companies, Walmart, Wayfair and many more.

Virtual Career Fair

On Friday, October 7 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. ET, we are hosting a Virtual Career Fair where dozens of retail companies will be ready to meet with you and discuss internships and full-time roles. You can join in at any time to meet one-on-one with recruiters from all of our participating companies. Recruiters are already reviewing resumes of registered students and inviting them to scheduled conversations, so make sure to register for the career fair as early as possible. It should take less than a minute to register!

Fostering Diverse Connections

On October 27 and November 3, the NRF Foundation is offering a two-part series titled Fostering Diverse Connections, sponsored by Ross. The first part is a dynamic professional development session with Halleemah Nash, founder of Rosecrans Ventures where she’ll take a deep dive into strength-based strategies for underrepresented talent and managing up, using influence without authority. The second part is a mentorship event where students will meet with executives from across the retail industry in small groups to discuss transitioning to the workforce, navigating the workplace and what diversity, equity and inclusion means to them. Note: This event is open to students of color.
