DECA Inc. Partners with Facebook Education

DECA Inc. is pleased to announce a new strategic partnership with Facebook Education. During the 2019-2020 school year, Facebook Education and DECA will collaborate to:

  1. Participate in the pilot Digital Marketing Skills which provides access to the online Facebook Blueprint Educators Portal and the opportunity for students to earn the Facebook Digital Marketing Associate Certification. Learn more about the program below.
  2. Sponsor DECA’s Integrated Marketing Campaign-Product and Integrated Marketing Campaign-Service competitive events at DECA’s International Career Development Conference.
  3. Host an exhibit and workshops at DECA’s International Career Development Conference.
  4. Participate in DECA’s Train the Trainer Certification Course in June 2020.

The Facebook Digital Marketing program contains three parts: The Educators Portal, online supplemental resources and the certification.

  1. Access the Facebook Blueprint Educators Portal. Educators can login and freely access all of the educational resources, including modularized content, presentation materials, facilitator notes, case studies, student activities and corresponding rubrics, online supplemental materials and information on earning the Facebook Certified Digital Marketing Associate Certification. The Educators Portal Info Sheet includes more information.
  2. Utilize the online content for students, supplemental in-classroom material that students can use to prepare for the certification exam. This material includes 6 hours of self-paced content, video tutorials, knowledge checks and practice certification exam questions.
  3. Register for the Facebook Certified Digital Marketing Associate Certification. The Facebook Digital Marketing Associate Certification Guide and Facebook Digital Marketing Associate Certification FAQ include more information on the certification.
