Charters Got Talent!

Gracie Agnew, Chatham Charter School, NC

Chatham Charter DECA, a small chapter located in central North Carolina, hosted a talent show fundraiser on Friday, October 4th.

With roughly 50 members, it was no small task! Their officers started planning in July and hit the ground running once the school year began. After many long months of preparation, the day arrived. Almost the entire chapter volunteer to help out that night and it was a huge success! The show went off without a hitch. The chapter raised over $1,500 to help members reach their goal of going to ICDC. It was also a rewarding experience for each member to learn new leadership and entrepreneurship skills through volunteerism. However, the show wouldn’t have been possible had it not been for the chapter’s amazing advisors, Ashley Wood and Larissa Spillman. They worked hard to make the event a success and the chapter couldn’t be more grateful!
