MBA Research Conclave 2019 Highlights

DECA was honored to participate in the MBA Research & Curriculum Center Conclave this weekend in Louisville with Kevin Reisenauer, North Dakota DECA Association Advisor and MBAResearch Board Chair; Frank Peterson, Acting Executive Director; Scott Stump, Assistant Secretary for Career, Technical and Adult Education at the U.S. Department of EducationDalton Green, Central Region Vice President; Christopher Young, Chief Program Officer. 


DECA was pleased to participate in the MBA Conclave Curriculum and Teaching Conference as a platinum sponsor, October 4-7, 2019 in Louisville, KY. Hosted by MBA Research & Curriculum Center, MBA Conclave Curriculum and Teaching Conference is designed specifically for teachers and administrators of Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs in Business Administration.

Scott Stump, Assistant Secretary for Career, Technical and Adult Education for the U.S. Department of Education was a featured speaker, delivering an insightful session on “Rethinking Career and Technical Education.”

Andrea Zahumensky, Chief Marketing Officer, for KFC U.S., presented “Go Big or Go Home: The KFC Comeback, as the keynote speaker for the opening session, which DECA sponsored.

Represented by Frank Peterson, Acting Executive Director and Christopher Young, CAE, Chief Program Officer, DECA convened and participated in the following sessions:

  • A Conversation with BPA, DECA, and FBLA Executives
  • This Is How We Use DECA’s Integrated Marketing Campaign Events In The Classroom

Dalton Green, the Central Region Vice President, met with many DECA chapter advisors and chartered association advisors at the DECA exhibit.
