Competitive Events Transcripts from 2018 Collegiate DECA ICDC Now Available

DECA is pleased to provide (at no cost) transcripts for students who competed in an Individual Case Study, Team Case Study, or Prepared Business Presentation competitive event at the Collegiate DECA 2018 International Career Development Conference (ICDC).

The competitive event transcript reports student performance on each element of the competitive event. For example, a transcript for a student competing in an individual case study event would provide feedback regarding performance on the comprehensive exam, the preliminary case study, and the final case study if applicable.

Exam performance is broken down by each instructional area assessed by the exam (promotion, economics, pricing, channel management, etc.).

Presentation performance is broken down by line item on the evaluation forms. You’ll be able to see line by line how you performed during your interaction with the judge. Competitive events transcripts also allow you to see how you performed compared to other competitors in your event.

Transcripts provide the ability to diagnose strengths and weaknesses and can be used to improve future performance in DECA competitive events. Academic program areas may use student data as a measurement of course outcomes.
