Collegiate DECA Announces 2018 ICDC Opening Session Keynote Speaker
“I had sixteen different businesses before I was sixteen.” – Johnny Earle
Johnny Earle will bring an energetic and entrepreneurial flare to the 2018 #CDECAICDC conference. His story starts off humbly with lemonade stands and magic shows, but through hard work and persistence, Johnny Cupcakes is now valued at over $3 million.
Johnny Cupcakes is the first ever ‘T-Shirt Bakery,’ combining a t-shirt shop with the aesthetic of a bakery. Commonly, customers walk in expecting to purchase a cupcake and are upset when they find a t-shirt shop. However, for the customers who know about Johnny and his business they immediately fall in love with the charm, aroma and excellent experience of the shop.
Johnny Earle is coming to #CDECAICDC to speak to members about starting a business, creating loyal customers and making a brand so strong that over 2,000 people get tattoos of the logo.
Johnny’s uncanny ability to build customer loyalty and have people camp out for sales has been featured on Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, INC Magazine, The New York times and more. Additionally, Johnny Cupcakes products were seen in the Seth Rogan movie, This is The End.
We cannot wait to see Johnny in D.C. next April, and we hope all Collegiate DECA members can join us in experiencing Johnny’s #Limitless story!
