In the month of February we get the amazing opportunity to talk about education and organizations that change our lives. As you may know, February is Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month, but how can you make the most of the month?

The DECA Advocacy Campaign challenges chapters to host three school outreach activities, three community outreach activities and show three examples of public policy maker outreach

Here are some tips on how to help your #CTEMonth efforts become #Limitless:

1. Reach out to local business owners.

Invite local entrepreneurs to speak during chapter meetings. Next time your chapter is having a social invite them as well!

2. Talk to your school administration.

Let your admins and even school board know what you are doing for the students of your high school. Set up a meeting and speak on how DECA has changed your life and how it will continue to change lives of students.

3. Present at a local council meeting.

Sign up to speak at a town hall meeting and share with your community how DECA is impacting students in your city.

Use these simple tips to help grow DECA and keep your chapter #Limitless this February!
