To start off this interactive lab, DECA Inc. high school division president Jaron May got the audience excited with a #LIMITLESS  “Repeat After Me” energizer song.

With the crowd up and excited, Jaron gave the audience the opportunity to move around and talk about ways they could pitch the idea of DECA to different target markets. Throughout this lab, students learned all about DECA and the different parts like membership, community service, advocacy and more.

Jaron also went into depth into the scholarship and real life experience opportunities that DECA chapters can offer to students like the School-based Enterprise program.

To end the lab, Jaron went into depth on how students can get involved during conferences, like being apart of the social media correspondent teams, participating in competitions and going on DECA trips. Then, Jaron had attendees play a Kahoot game to test the attendees on the knowledge they gained from the presentation.

This learning lab was such a fun and interactive way to get a deeper understanding of all the opportunities a DECA member can provide a student!
