Donate to the DECA Disaster Relief Fund at #DECAPowerTrip

DECA is committed to helping chapters that have been displaced or may have lost possessions because of recent natural disasters.

The DECA Disaster Relief Fund was created to help support those chapters and members in need.

There is still time for you and your members to participate in DECA’s Disaster Relief Fund during the #DECAPowerTrip 2017.

You and your chapter can participate by bringing monetary donations:

  • During the #DECAPowerTrip registration on Friday, November 10
  • At conference headquarters on Friday and/or Saturday
  • During the relief fund minute that will take place during the Opening Session on Friday
  • By purchasing $5 grab bags throughout the conference

Overall money raised during the #DECAPowerTrip will be announced during the closing session on Sunday morning.

This is a great way for members, advisors and any DECA supporters to apply one of DECA’s guiding principles of being community oriented.

The funds generated by the donations will go to assist DECA chapters that have requested assistance for membership dues, classroom materials, conference travel and other areas of need.
