How Collegiate DECA Members Can Get Involved in the DECA Idea Challenge

It is almost that time of year again!

As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, the DECA Idea Challenge is held each November to challenge students to think outside the box. Students have only eight days to take a mystery item and come up with a creative and innovative use for it.

To participate in this challenge, you must organize a team of three to five members, create a three-minute video pitch centered around the mystery item, and submit a form. It’s just that easy!

There are three categories available to compete in, and you do not have to be a registered DECA member to join in:

1) Elementary + Middle School (ages 6 to 13 years)
2) High School (ages 14 to 18 years)
3) Collegiate (ages 18 years and above)

For a full list of guidelines, click here.

Mystery item will be revealed on on November 12, 2017, at 4:00 PM EST.

Submissions are due by November 20, 2017 at 11:59 PM EST. You can submit your entry online here.

The global finalists will be announced on January 16, 2018, and the global winners will be announced on January 23, 2018.
