DECA Announces 2017-2018 SBE Advisory Council

DECA is pleased to announce the members of the 2017-2018 School-based Enterprise (SBE) Advisory Council!

The DECA SBE Advisory Council plays an integral part in the planning and development of DECA’s School-based Enterprise programming. The council is responsible for guiding the program in a positive direction, setting goals for growth and development, and ensuring DECA members receive the most beneficial experience possible.

Councilmembers are dedicated advisors that have extensive experience with DECA and the SBE program, understand the value in experience-based learning, and are eager to share their knowledge and expertise with the DECA SBE community.

DECA welcomes five new advisors and two returning advisors to the council for 2017-2018 including:

Carol Lynn Nute, South Carolina

Sarah Hart Olson, Wisconsin

Frank Rosa, Massachusetts
Term: 2017-2019

Sue Rowley, Texas
Term: 2016-2018

Councilmembers will contribute to the continuous development of DECA’s School-based Enterprise Program, which includes resources for starting and operating an SBE, the chapter certification program, the individual certification program and the SBE Academy at DECA’s International Career Development Conference.
