3 Reasons to Get Excited for #DECAELS 2017
Ahh the #SummerofDECA is finally upon us! No more early wake up calls or stressful nights; just smooth sailing for the next few months.
Now I want you to enjoy the summer and soak up as many sun rays as possible, but you can never forget about DECA! With the #SummerofDECA comes the DECA Emerging Leader Summit.
Whether you’re joining me and all your DECA buddies for #DECAELS, or just following all the fun from home thanks to social media, I’m here to get you ready for all the fun coming your way in just a few weeks.
If you are not excited already (I don’t know why you wouldn’t be) here are some things that should do the trick:
1. Grow As A Leader
The number goal of the Emerging Leader Summit is to enhance your leadership abilities through a plethora of activities and workshops. You will spend the day learning how to be successful in the business world, how to strengthen your chapter or association, and how to better yourself as an individual. Plus not to mention, you will be taught how to properly eat at the Etiquette Luncheon, which you can bring back and show off in front of your friends and family.
2. Washington D.C.
Now if this doesn’t get you excited, I’m not sure what will. At #DECAELS you will be able to see the beautiful city of Washington D.C. This spectacular city is rich with history, has an extremely fun atmosphere, and has some must-see sights. During the D.C. Night Tour, you will be able to travel around the city to see those amazing sights and soak up everything the city has to offer.
Okay, so if the first two reasons somehow didn’t get you ready for #DECAELS, this definitely will- friends, friends, and more friends! The best part of the Emerging Leader Summit is that you will be able to network with DECA leaders from all across the globe. The friendships you will make will last a lifetime.
With all of those reasons, I cannot see how you couldn’t be excited for the Emerging Leader Summit. I cannot wait to see everyone there!
