2016-2017 IMPACT Program Winners Announced

The 2016-2017 IMPACT Program awards were presented during the Chartered Association Officer Luncheon on April 28, 2017, at the DECA International Career Development Conference in Anaheim, Calif.

Congratulations to the following Chartered Association Officer teams for submitting entries to showcase the impact they had on their association: Alabama, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Puerto Rico, South Dakota, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

All of this year’s submissions showcased great ideas that you can bring back to your association, so be sure to see all of the submissions!

The IMPACT Program has five categories for recognition:

  1. Advocacy
  2. Community Outreach
  3. DECA Month/Global Entrepreneurship Week
  4. Membership
  5. Partner/Sponsor Outreach

This year we introduced the Diamond Award to recognize the region which has made the greatest overall impact. With 100% participation in the IMPACT Program, the winner of the inaugural Diamond Award was the Central Region!

All of the Central Region association officers received a Diamond Award lapel pin to recognize their efforts.
