The Best FIDM Fashion Show Ever

Welcome to SoCal!

The 2017 DECA International Career Development Conference is finally here!

The #DECAICDC opening session kicked off Wednesday night with the FIDM Fashion Show, which showcased costumes produced by students at the Fashion institute of Design & Merchandising.

Here are some of my favorite outfits showcased:

#1. A woman and man paired up wearing a hoop dress and tuxedo of maroon and orange colors. This Hunger Game-esque duo came with a surprise; the cake transformed into a giant wedding cake at the end. This fashion/architectural feat was truly remarkable.

#2. A circus themed hoop dress studded with red, white, and blue, and a popcorn hat. A pleasant surprise also came along when two little kids dressed as elephants charged out from under the dress. That was personally my favorite part. The cuteness was unreal.

#3. The happiest outfit in my opinion was the outfit filled with rainbow frills, and an exuberant headdress. Spanish music played as the model danced and happiness exploded. The colors and music made it wonderful.

All the costumes were amazing, but here were some of my favorite. The FIDM students are truly amazing and genius for creating such outfits and I am very thankful that #DECAICDC was able to showcase their talets!
