DECA Advisor & Role Model Prepares Members for Competition Success

Keith Ronkowski, retired Red River High School teacher and DECA advisor, made a visit to the University of North Dakota Collegiate DECA chapter on Tuesday, January 31.

Mr. Ronkowski attended the meeting to prepare the chapter for their upcoming association and national conferences, and visit a few familiar faces that once participated in his high school DECA program at Red River.

He gave a presentation to the members about how to compete at their North Dakota Collegiate DECA Career Development Conference on February 12-13, 2017.

Thanks to Keith Ronkowski and his DECA competition workshop, all 13 members that attended the conference qualified for the Collegiate DECA International Career Development Conference taking place in Anaheim, Calif., this April.

Mr. Ronkowski stressed to us the importance of being on time, polite and presentable, three lessons that guarantee a competitive advantage in no matter what you do in life!
