Win $30,000 for Your Community Service Project with Lead2Feed

As the newest member of DECA’s National Advisory Board, the Lead2Feed Student Leadership Program offers DECA members a chance to bring leadership and service to their communities for amazing results!

Lead2Feed is a FREE leadership program for grades 6-12 with a service learning component. The program, designed in a 10-Lesson or 6-Lesson track, can be used in most subject areas or during after school chapter meetings.

Students work through the lessons and apply their learning by designing and implementing a project to “feed a need” in your community. Projects can be entered into our Challenge for awards of up to $20,000 to the charity chosen by the students and up to $10,000 in technology grants for your school.

The Lead2Feed Challenge deadline for this year is April 7, 2017. Find out more here.

Lead2Feed is aligned with Common Core State Standards and 21st Century Skills. These documents and many other resources complimenting the program are available once you register and become a member of our community. All materials are FREE.

The Lead2Feed.org website also includes teacher and student lessons. The student lessons are self-contained so students can complete the work within the lesson pages. There is a “Pacing Guide,” that gives ideas on how to complete the lessons in six or 10 sessions. Once your students complete the lessons, they will also be finished with their service project.

DECA members and advisors are encouraged register on www.Lead2Feed.org/join and we will send you a copy of the book Taking People with You by David Novak. Lead2Feed is based on this book, which David teaches to corporate executives across the USA.
