The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) and DECA Recognize Exemplary Educators
The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS), an international honor society dedicated to highlighting the accomplishments of students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, scholarship and community commitment, announces today the recipients of the NSHSS – DECA Advisor Leadership Award.
This award program is dedicated to recognizing outstanding DECA advisors who model best practices in teaching, are role models among their peers, and who demonstrate outstanding leadership and excellence in education. NSHSS and DECA have a long-standing tradition of recognizing world class individuals who are preparing emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for successful futures.
The NSHSS – DECA Advisor Leadership Awards were presented at the DECA International Career Conference, April 23 – 26, 2016, in Nashville, Tenn.
The 2016 NSHSS – DECA Advisor Leadership Award Winners are:
- Joshua Dumas – Maplewood Comprehensive High School Nashville, Tenn.
- Amanda Weishaar – Pinkerton Academy Derry, N.H.
