Collegiate DECA Announces Inaugural Stock Market Game for 2016

Do you think you have the financial savvy and investment acumen to become the next Warren Buffett or T. Rowe Price? If so, Collegiate DECA’s new Stock Market Game is for you.

The Collegiate DECA Stock Market Game is a fully online simulation that provides you with $100,000 of fake money to invest in the stock market.

You’ll have from February 1, 2016 until April 8, 2016 to invest in stocks, bonds, and mutual funds with the goal of increasing the value of your investment portfolio.

You’ll compete against other Collegiate DECA members from across the world.  The top three members, or teams, that see the highest rates of return during the game will be recognized by Collegiate DECA for their accomplishments.  No travel is required to participate.

On February 1, 2016, Collegiate DECA advisors will be able to register their chapter members for the Stock Market Game by completing the online registration process at http://deca.smgww.org.

This opportunity is strictly for members of Collegiate DECA and is a benefit of membership in the organization.

If you have questions about the registration process, please contact Vincent Young (vyoung@sifma.org) at the SIFMA Foundation. Vincent is Collegiate DECA’s Stock Market Game Coordinator and can assist you with technical questions.

Good luck to all members!
