Idea Challenge 2013 Kicks Off November 15!

Want to get involved in an exciting, fast-paced competition that will push you to challenge the norms? Want to unleash your creativity and innovation while fostering entrepreneurial thinking skills? Then you should get involved in DECA’s Idea Challenge 2013, a featured event of Global Entrepreneurship Week!

Idea Challenge 2013 tests elementary, secondary and college student teams to create an innovative, new use for a common, everyday item. The Item will be revealed online at on November 15 at 12:01 a.m. EST.

Teams of three to four students will then create a three-minute video presentation of their idea to be posted on YouTube and submitted no later than 6:00 p.m. EST on November 22. Registration prior to final submission is not required.

The Idea Challenge 2013 global winner will be announced on December 12, 2013. The winning team will receive recognition on both the DECA Inc. and Global Entrepreneurship Week websites as well as $1,000! In addition to recognizing the winning global team, the finalist team from the United States will be recognized at DECA’s International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in Atlanta, Ga., or Collegiate DECA’s ICDC in Washington, D.C.
