DECA Trains New Chartered Association Advisors

DECA held its 2013 Training for New Advisors of Chartered Associations at the Association Management Conference in Atlanta, Ga.

The two-day event, facilitated by Michelle Walker, DECA Inc. director of education, is one component of DECA’s on-boarding process for new-chartered association advisors.

As the largest advisory role within DECA, overseeing an entire chartered association is no small task. This training equipped new-chartered association advisors and other association leaders with an understanding of program management, association and chapter development, advocacy and association management.
