DECA's Newly Elected National Officer Team is Ready to Make It Count!

More than 400 voting delegates from around the globe cast their vote on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at #DECAICDC for the next team of DECA leaders who will Make It Count. 

This newly elected team brings to the table a diverse set of experiences and they are ready to represent all of our members at the highest level of DECA leadership. Please join us in welcoming your 2013-2014 National Officer Team:

Carter Christensen, National DECA President

Carter is a four-year DECA member from Sioux Falls, S.D. He has served three terms as South Dakota DECA association president. In addition to participating in DECA, Carter enjoys serving and volunteering in the community as well as being an active musician. Carter’s future plans include the opportunity to study abroad in foreign countries.

Lexy Parsons, Southern Region Vice President 

Lexy is a four-year DECA member from Hampton, Va., and has served at as an association officer for Virginia DECA, as well as a social media correspondent for DECA Inc.  She enjoys working with others to help them develop their potential as a leader. Her passions involve serving her community, running, sailing, backpacking and traveling to new places. She plans to study marketing and communications while in college.

Jack Fenton, North Atlantic Region Vice President

Jack is a four-year DECA member from Toronto, Ontario, and has served as an association officer for Ontario DECA. He embraces the importance of community service and has worked hard to grow his local chapter. Jack plans to study finance while in college and further develop his leadership and management skills.

Connor Brashear, Central Region Vice President

Connor is a four-year DECA member from Washington, Ind., and has served as Indiana DECA’s association president. He has experienced the winner’s podium at ICDC earning first place in his category. He is involved in running his own nonprofit organization and is an avid soccer player, as well as a musician. He plans on studying marketing and international business while in college.

Trevor Dickerson, Western Region Vice President

Trevor is a two-year DECA member from Tucson, Ariz., and has served as an association officer for Arizona DECA. He worked hard to develop leadership and competition opportunities for his association members. Trevor enjoys politics, working in his community and golf. He plans to study political science and public policy while in college.
