Special Guest Appearance at 2018 DECA ICDC Grand Awards

As a part of our ongoing partnership with Universal Orlando Youth Programs, we welcomed a special guest Tuesday night at our Grand Awards Session for the 2018 DECA International Career Development Conference. Eric Marshall, Vice President of Park Sales at Universal Orlando Resort, took the stage to introduce the Marketing is Universal: Keeping the Guest at Heart program that was developed with and endorsed by DECA. While he was on stage, the lights went out and smoke began to rise. Optimus Prime himself emerged and delivered an inspiring message to the crowd of DECA members at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The surprise appearance was a great kickoff to the exhilarating night ahead, full of DECA glass and the announcement of the 2018-19 Executive Officers.

We are very excited for the continual growth of our new partnership with Universal Orlando Youth Programs and to see what other innovative offerings are released. They are continuously creating innovative and meaningful educational programs that bring the classroom to life within their leading entertainment and vacation destination.

We are excited to head to Orlando in 2019 for DECA’s International Career Development Conference and for our members and advisors to experience Universal Orlando firsthand. #ReadyForUniversal #UniversalYouth
