St. Cloud State University Collegiate DECA Hosts Business Ethics Competition

Last fall, the St. Cloud State University (Minn.) Collegiate DECA chapter invited all students to participate in a business ethics competition. This was part of the Herberger Business School’s Ethics 360 Program, a week long program focusing ethical behavior.

Chapter members promoted the competition with posters and posting it on the school’s student organization website.

We had a very diverse group of students participate, including four from Binhai University, China., one student from Nigeria, and another was born in Somalia, but grew up in Kenya, and now lives in Minnesota. The other participants were from towns in the St. Cloud vicinity.

Some comments from the participants say it all:

“Thank you sir, I’m so happy.”

“I can’t believe I got a medal, I’ve never received an award before in my whole life!”

“The judge had a tremendous time too and wants to back next year.”
