Give Your Students a Taste of the Finance Industry with the DECA Stock Market Game

The DECA Stock Market Game is an exciting opportunity for students to develop investment strategies and gain insight into ebbs and flows of the market through the comfort and flexibility of an online platform.

Brought to you be the SIFMA Foundation, this virtual simulation challenges teams of one to three students to build and manage a virtual investment portfolio of stocks, bonds and mutual funds.

This event is FREE to all active DECA members at both the high school and collegiate level.

HIGH SCHOOL DIVISION

Teams build and manage all aspects of the portfolio, including asset selection, buying and selling. Students aim to increase the value of the portfolio while maintaining its diversity.

The 25 teams with the highest percent growth against S&P 500 in each region with a diversified portfolio will be invited to attend DECA’s International Career Development Conference (ICDC) this April, 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia. Team members competing in the Stock Market Game event at ICDC may not compete in another ICDC event.
