Volunteers Needed to Judge 19,000 High School Students at Annual DECA Inc. Conference

DECA’s annual International Career Development Conference will bring the next generation of leaders in business and entrepreneurship to the Anaheim Convention Center from April 26-29, 2017.

The #DECAICDC highlights DECA’s top student performers as over 19,000 high school students from the United States, Canada, China, Korea, Mexico and Spain come to Anaheim for the pinnacle event of the DECA year.

DECA Inc. is looking for Anaheim-area business professionals to volunteer as competitive event judges on Friday, April 28. All judges will receive training beforehand, as well as a complimentary lunch.

During the school year, approximately 120,000 of DECA’s 225,000 student members take part in the organization’s competitive events program, allowing them to compete for local and regional titles. The competitions are designed to simulate real-life business scenarios and test students’ academic understanding and skills development.

The top state and provincial winners will now put their talents to the test during the program’s final round of competition in Anaheim next week.

Individuals can register to judge right now at online, or contact Emily Rogers at emily_rogers@deca.org for further questions.

DECA members have worked all year to compete for international glory, and you can directly impact the next generation of leaders by volunteering to judge at #DECAICDC!
